Inspired by the UAE-related exhibition featuring advanced robotics, innovations like quadruped drones, autonomous vehicles, and robotic arms highlight the future of air mobility. These technologies incorporate precision offerings specifically designed for the UAE market. The R&D Teck team attended the Make it in the Emirates event in Abu Dhabi from May 19-22, 2025. As visitors, they witnessed significant interest from industry leaders in concepts such as eVTOL and air taxi advancements.
Reflecting on the experience at the SAT EXPO held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on May 12-13, 2025, it was an incredible opportunity to engage with industry leaders and innovators. The event showcased the latest advancements in satellite technology and provided a platform for networking and collaboration. Attendees had the chance to explore various exhibitions, attend insightful panel discussions, and participate in workshops that highlighted emerging trends and challenges in the satellite sector. Concept: Hovering drones equipped with R&D technology can autonomously assemble aerospace components. These components include fuselage panels, wing sections, and eVTOL structures, all in simulated high-altitude conditions.
Implementation: Drones can utilize advanced clamp force control (CFC) for precise fastening and employ AI-driven torque monitoring. This implementation can be deployed at Strata Manufacturing in Al Ain.
Benefits: These drones significantly reduce assembly errors, enable confined-space assembly, and support the production of drones and eVTOL vehicles.
2. Robotic Swarm for Satellite and eVTOL Component Fabrication
Concept: A swarm of robots, inspired by quadruped designs, uses R&D technology to build satellite frames and eVTOL components collaboratively.
